Re-creation

Aaron did a great job of taking some pics of Andrew as a re-creation of a pic we had of Gabe from his 2nd Halloween.

Here's the shot of Andrew that made the cut....

and this was Gabe, 2 years prior. And if I am correct in my thinking this is also the day we found out I was pregnant with Andrew.... if not this day it was only a few days later.

Halloween 2010

This year a tiger and Spiderman made their appearance at our house.

Spidey had a little trouble keeping his mask on while we were trick-or-treating.

It only took Andrew 1 or 2 houses before he figured out how awesome trick-or-treating is!

How's this for adorable neighbors?!? Bella, Paige, and Jack were our first customers.

Last week Andrew amused us by putting a few of his "treasures" on his mower and pushing it around the bedroom.

In case you can't tell it is a train, bouncy ball, and half eaten chicken stick.

I found Iron Man like this today. I'm not sure what his problem was but apparently the ChapStick helped. We had to give him a bath tonight to clean him off.

Visitors from MN

Gramma Mitzi and Auntie Emily came from MN (well ND too) to visit us last weekend. It was a lot of fun to have them here and Gabe and Andrew showed them all their tricks!

Over the past few months I have been learning to sew with the help of my mom and 2 of the gals at work. Jan (one of the gals at work) challenged me to make this apron. I finished it today and really had fun making it.

Andrew tried it out the other night by wiping snot on it....

Lately....

We have been to Minnesota for Bauer's 1st birthday party. I think I've got the pictures in reverse order; oh well!

These are from last Saturday when I walked to the playground with the boys. The playground is in Dakota City and Gabe kept calling it "North Dakota City". We had a picnic, played, and threw rocks in the river.

Tumbling

Gabe started tumbling on Monday and did pretty good. Of course there were moments where he ran circles around the teacher (literally) and he refused to try head stands, but overall he did great! Sorry for the bad picture (he's in the center in the blue t-shirt) but I didn't want to distract the class by using a flash.

Out of Power

This is a video from the other night when we walked to the park. There is a long hill to go up just as you leave the park. And Gabe sat down and said that he ran out of power.

Andrew got the best card in the mail today from Auntie Holly & Uncle Dan. It plays his favorite dancing song over and over and over!

1st Day of School

Gabe started preschool today at Zion. He was happy here because he thought we were just going to play at the church.

Note the forced smile here as he was realizing this was school. He has been telling us for weeks, "I don't wanna go to school". He screamed for a few minutes when we left but ended up loving it (of course).

PASTA!!!!!

Messy baby... kinda makes me anxious....

But I restrained from cleaning him off every 2 seconds because he was in love with the pasta.
