Rhett's Birthday Weekend!

Rhett turned 1 on Saturday and we had GREAT time celebrating!

We stayed at a nice hotel with a perfect pool.

Gabe swam the entire day Saturday.  He had so much fun and made some new friends.

Aaron and the boys have been shooting bow and arrow lately.  When Andrew was told to put his bow away he put it right by dads in the same position.

I like to wear 'comfy clothes' and Andrew has started to take note and wants to wear comfy clothes, too.  This day he got his on first then helped me pick mine.  He wanted to match....

Silly Boys + Kyzer's 2nd Birthday!

These first 4 pictures were taken about a week ago.  It all started because Andrew was decked out in his Bison gear (yes, his shoes are on the wrong feet).

Today we went to Kyzer's birthday party and had SOOOO much fun!

Bedtime Photo Op

A few nights back I was cracking up over Andrew wanting his laptop in bed with him.  I don't think he's ever seen me do the same thing.... but I do!  I love this picture because he is grinning so big but look at those tired eyes.  And I also like how you can see all the things he has in bed with him.  Water, crackers (some of them weeks old probably), books, a cycling jersey of Aaron's (green/gold), stuffed animals, 2 blankets, 3 pillows (one made by grandma, one made by Mary)... such a silly boy!

And not wanting to be left out Gabe had his pic taken with 2 transformers in bed.  And this night he "got" to sleep in his clothes.  For some reason he loves to sleep in his clothes... I don't let him very often so it is a treat and he was happy!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter!  We went to church (duh), hunted Easter eggs, hunted Easter baskets, played toys, cooked lunch, took a nap, ate bunny cake, relaxed, rejoiced in our risen Lord and rejoiced that it was all over!!

We also got the great news that auntie Emily said YES when Rob asked her to marry him!  YAY!  We are so happy for both of them and can't wait to make Rob an official uncle!

Here is a shot of each of us taken on our way home to Iowa after Grandma Gena's funeral

Cousin Time!

We traveled to North Dakota for Great Grandma Gena's funeral.  We stayed at a hotel in Grafton and celebrated GG Gena's life at Trinity in Edinburg.  We were sad to say goodbye to her but I know she is happy that the cousins had so much fun seeing each other and playing!
