The only problem we had with his bed this way is that he wanted his new bike IN bed with him. He cried and cried until I put the bike in his bed. He kept it there for a few minutes and then changed his mind. As long as the bike was RIGHT NEXT to the bed he was OK. He went to sleep without a problem and stayed in his bed all night long. Then he came and woke me up this morning (at 9:30 -- what a good boy)!

Working towards the Big Boy Bed!
Along with a new bike yesterday we adjusted Gabe's crib into a toddler bed. Pretty soon we'll need the crib for the baby so we thought it was time for Gabe to get used to a big boy bed. We also bought bunk beds and those are almost ready (the John Deere bedding will arrive next week!), but until then he can use his crib this way...
Gabe's First Bike!
Gabe is so crazy about biking.... watching biking on TV & the internet and going for bike rides with Aaron that I could not resist this little bike when I saw it at K-Mart. He was so excited when I told him I bought a bike and he could hardly wait while Aaron put it together.
He hasn't learned how to use the pedals (I don't even know if he could reach them) but he gets around very well!
Good thing Aaron worked at a bike shop or it might have taken him too long to put the bike together for Gabe...

MPLS & Back Home!
Gabe modeled a hat in Gap Baby. We didn't buy anything... the "clearance" t-shirts were twenty bucks! No thanks....
Slurping an icee at the Rainforest Cafe.
Pucker up -- from the sour icee...
When we got home Aaron got Gabe dressed.... The hair and face just completed the ensemble. He looks like one crazy tractor driver!
And finally a belly pic where I don't look completely possessed. This was taken on Saturday... 25 weeks (I think -- I'm having trouble keeping track of this one)!

23.5 weeks
I don't know what the problem is.... but I cannot seem to take a decent picture when we do this! This is the best one of about 10 Aaron took tonight. I think next time we'll try to take the pics in the morning and see if we get better results....
In spite of the weird facial expression (again), the tucked in tank top, bad posture, and GIGANTIC sticking out belly button (thanks to the HERNIA I have right above it)... You can see that the belly is really popping out now!
