Last Chance

Tonight is our last chance to post some pics until we get internet access up and running in Iowa. These are in no particular order and reflect our adventures in Minnesota and North Dakota.....

Gabe and his cousins Ben and Maggie

We had a little trouble getting a good picture!

Gabe's cousin Colby did a great job holding him!

Snuggling with great-grandma Gena!

Uncle Jerry... captured on camera!!!!

That's a baby picture of Aaron's... do they look alike???

Grandma Mitzi supervising the tire swing at the farm.

What a way to snooze!

Grandpa Schaefer with his two favorite grandkids!

Gabe and Grandpa .. Gabe's wearing the shirt grandpa got at a car show for him!

Grandpa Flatau fishing

Gabe proudly wearing his marines bib and onesie.... The few, the proud!

Yup, that's right I learned how to drive the 2+2 -- and how to work the baler!

We'll be posting updates as we get settled in Humboldt, Iowa! See you soon..........

Up North!

Gabe's Grandpa Flatau couldn't wait to give him his first 4-wheeler ride. They cruised around the yard, and Gabe was pretty happy!

Gabriel's uncle Michael just ran Grandma's Marathon and he doesn't even look tired!

Uncle Jon and Gabe were getting re-acquainted

Gabe and Grandpa wore each other out....

After leaving the farm in Minnesota we made our way to North Dakota and Linda & Jim's lake cabin at Strawberry Lake. Here we are on Gabe's first pontoon ride.

A family picture with Jim & Linda's brand new cabin in the background. It is awesome!

Uncle Jim and Gabriel were playing together by the river rock fireplace

Gabe cuddled with his auntie Kristi and cousin Sydney

Check out that whopper!!! Aaron was quite the angler catching many small little blue gill and perch off the dock. Look closely or you might miss the fish in Aaron's left hand.

The New House

Here is our house that we are buying in Humboldt.....

I've only seen video of the inside! Fortunately Aaron and his dad have been in the house and say it is very nice.

They call it a "berm home" because of the earth being built up on 3 sides. Kind of different but should be well insulated and save us $$ on cooling and heating.

SWEETEST CARS EVER!!

My dreams came true before we left St. Louis....

Kirk finally fixed his MR2 and we were able to drive to work and park beside each other in the parking garage!!! It was great and I'm sure many passers-by had to stop and stare at the sight.

Here are some pictures of the beauties in my driveway after Aaron and Kirk recharged his air conditioning. Mine is the one with t-tops, Kirk's is the one with the moonroof.

What a sight to behold....

Visitors!

Sydney & Kristi recently visited us for 2 whole weeks! They were lots of fun and LOTS of help! Kristi started packing our boxes for the big move and Sydney helped take care of Gabe. We did get a little time for sight seeing too!

Here's Sydney on the steps at the Gateway Arch in downtown St. Louis....

A family picture at my going away party at work (my 3rd one....)

Look how strong my boy is!

Gabe & Sydney - check out Gabe's hair sticking up!
