Lately....

We have been to Minnesota for Bauer's 1st birthday party. I think I've got the pictures in reverse order; oh well!

Mr. Drew being a cute little traveler on our way back home Saturday.

Gabe snoozing on our way home. He was exhausted and slept for over 2 hours.

Andrew & Grandma reading in Jill & Craig's yard.

Snoozing in the tire swing at auntie Jill's. Uncle Mikey pushed the swing until little man was asleep.

Bauer riding his tractor.

Andrew played in the sand and got really dirty!

Bauer liked his cake!

Andrew & Bauer liked each other and gave each other hugs & kisses before we left.

Gilbert had fun at the party, too.

Hey, it's OK to ride backwards!

Gabe being a cutie pie... as always.

I don't know what to say about this.

Grandpa & Andrew checking out some green tractors.

Last weekend we had some fabulous help to build the playground!

Hard workers!

more playground fun

These are from last Saturday when I walked to the playground with the boys. The playground is in Dakota City and Gabe kept calling it "North Dakota City". We had a picnic, played, and threw rocks in the river.

WEEEEE!!!!!

Climbing

Climbing just like brother.

Lovin' the bee. BUZZ.

More climbing. There are 3 monster trucks in that case.

This is a photo of when he "got out of power" going up the hill.

Tumbling

Gabe started tumbling on Monday and did pretty good. Of course there were moments where he ran circles around the teacher (literally) and he refused to try head stands, but overall he did great! Sorry for the bad picture (he's in the center in the blue t-shirt) but I didn't want to distract the class by using a flash.

Out of Power

This is a video from the other night when we walked to the park. There is a long hill to go up just as you leave the park. And Gabe sat down and said that he ran out of power.

Spectacular, spectacular......

Andrew got the best card in the mail today from Auntie Holly & Uncle Dan. It plays his favorite dancing song over and over and over!

Thanks Dan and Holly, we LOVE it! :-)

1st Day of School

Gabe started preschool today at Zion. He was happy here because he thought we were just going to play at the church.

Note the forced smile here as he was realizing this was school. He has been telling us for weeks, "I don't wanna go to school". He screamed for a few minutes when we left but ended up loving it (of course).

PASTA!!!!!

Messy baby... kinda makes me anxious....

But I restrained from cleaning him off every 2 seconds because he was in love with the pasta.

Thanks Pizza Hut!

Is this heaven?

No, it's a Grandma in Iowa. You can't tell from the pic but both of these 2 were sleeping!

A horse a piece!

PICNIC!

I had the bright idea to walk to the park in Dakota City last night and have a picnic with my boys. After was all said and done we had a good time, but there were some stressful moments! First of all there are no sidewalks to get there so we were on the blacktop with Gabe riding his bike and me pushing the stroller.... that was tense. THEN we got on the trail and about got eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Our time at the park was good! We ate, played on the playground, and threw rocks in the river.

Getting home went okay, except for the part where I had to push the stroller up the hill (big hill) while carrying the bike, yelling at Gabe, and swatting mosquitoes off all 3 of us! I'm sure anyone who saw us thought I was crazy.

Later I asked Gabe what his favorite part was and he said "eating" and then thought for a while and then said "I don't like it when you yell at me. Cause then I'm sad and I cry!" Oh well, next time I'll bring bug spray and an extra dose of patience!

I'm a good mom!

I let Andrew "buy" a sucker at Dollar General last week and he was in heaven!

It was a blow pop and he had that thing down to the gum in about 10 minutes.

And he wasn't happy when I took it away from him!

Old Photo of the Truth Train

My boys riding on the TRUTH train (in June)!

Life in Iowa

I don't know if you can see it... but I was going about 2miles per hour.
