ONE YEAR IN IOWA!!

Tomorrow we will mark one year in Iowa. It's been a good year -- fast in some ways, slow in others! Mostly we enjoy that we don't have to move again (since we were making it a yearly event).

Sisters with their kids!

A regular occurrence when I'm making a bottle for Gabe...

Gabe of the corn....

It's actually quite a bit taller on the other side of our subdivision, but this is the field directly behind our house.

Gabe was not real fond of standing in the corn so we didn't get very many good pictures...

The cutest...

It is my favorite thing when Gabe says "bye-bye". Aaron captured it on video this morning so we will always be able to listen to that cute "bye-bye"!

Pix with Gabe's cousin

My sister and her daughter visited us for about 2 weeks -- We had a great time and managed to get some great pix of Syd & Gabe together at the Humboldt County Historical Museum area....

Barn quilts are all the rage in Humboldt County. If you're cool and you have a barn... you have a barn quilt.

Gabe's 1st BIG camping trip!

Thank Goodness Gramma Mitzi had her camera! She told me she was busy snapping pictures -- and she got some GREAT ones!

Aaron went up to MN with our boy to go camping with his family. I stayed back in Iowa to spend time with my side of the family in Des Moines. We had a lot of fun and so did Aaron & Gabriel. Enjoy the pix!

First major crash....

Kickin' back with a drink in his new lawn chair (thanks gramma).

Ummm -- is this safe?

Gabe & Uncle Jon -- total chick magnets....

Helpin' dad cook.

A Norwegian boy playing Norwegian golf!

Gabe & his Grampa

They like to have a drink together.

Gabe & his favorite guy.

Goin' fishin'.....

Gabe's New Haircut!

I tried to cut his hair myself.... It turned out OK but needed a little help from our trusty beautician, Linda. She did a great job!

Gabriel cried a little at first. After I gave him something to eat he was good as gold!

A side shot of the finished look.

I organized his table for him today and he was loving it! He knows how to pull out the chair and sit down. He loves to play with trucks & tractors.

What a great smile!

BUBBALOU

According to my son I say some VERY funny things:
