Bauer's Baptism

These pictures are a little old since this took place in early October (the 3rd I believe) but I thought the pictures were too good to ignore.

Here is Bauer with his Godparents Jon, Machon and Emily.

Andrew (about 3 months old) & Bauer only about 2 weeks old.

Enjoying a sprinkle (fwinkle) doughnut. Well he only ate 1 bite then he had to play.

3 candles for 3 years

What an AWESOME birthday cake! Thanks to the KLB Family!

Strange lighting but a good pic nonetheless.

Kerry, Keagan, Andrew, Kylie, & Gabe

Hmm. A pic of Uncle Mikey with a gun. That's weird.

Gabe & mom with the special banner Grandma Di Ann made for Gabe.

Brothers. Having fun!

Andrew is so happy that Gabe turned three!

Random

Gabe talkin' to Grandma Mitzi on the phone about trains.

The weird room is coming along...

This was the view out our garage Tuesday morning. Note the size of that drift compared to the size of our snowblower (lower right). Needless to say we were unable to move this snow ourselves. A church member came over with his tractor/snowblower and cleaned it out for us!

Favorite Shoes

Gabe managed to completely wear out this pair of shoes. They were his favorites!

We took some parting shots before we tossed 'em in the garbage.

Progress

Looking towards Gabe's room. The closet is framed out and one doorway is just to the right of the closet. You can also see how the ceiling/skylight is recessed.

Another view of the same area.

This is how the skylights were framed.

Andrew is 7 months!

He has the biggest grin and is a happy boy. He is also very busy, just like his brother!

Gabe is almost 3!

Next Sunday Gabe will be 3. He is a very busy little man. Here are some pics to give you a glimpse into his life!

Drinking hot chocolate. He calls it cocoa.

I recently got a label maker and this is what Gabe did when I gave him a "sticker".

Trying on my shoes.

Happy as can be to have a new James train.

A Repeat of a Good Thing....

This is Andrew.....

This is Gabe. Picture taken early September 2007.

playing with Gabe's trains

Gabe & Aaron went outside to play in the snow tonight so Andrew took advantage of some time to play with Gabe's trains. He was so happy to pull the track apart or chew on the trains.

Big Boys

As of approx. 1.4.10 Andrew can sit up unsupported. As usual he is a happy guy and very pleased with himself when he can sit. He has not gotten himself up into a sitting position from laying on the floor (yet).

This was taken tonight. Andrew's first 2 teeth just broke the surface today and Aaron discovered it!! You would think I would have figured it out first since I'm nursing him (Andrew, not Aaron). The teeth are the 2 bottom middle.

Gabe has really gotten into Monster Jam Monster Trucks lately. He got 2 new ones at Target tonight. That puts his total at 5. He has Predator, Superman, Taz, Brutus, and Eliminator.
He desperately wants Grave Digger, Batman, and Bounty Hunter. So if you see any of those please buy them and send them to Gabe! Don't worry though he is still in love with Lightening McQueen and Thomas the Train.

Love these 2 cute pictures!

Mmmm, cookies!

Tonight I made some peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies (with the help of Mr. Schwan). Just like his mother, Gabe likes some sweet treats before bed...

The cookies were still warm and impossible to eat without a fork and he was determined to use this special fork. And yes, that is half a cookie he is putting in his mouth!

This is for you Grandma Di Ann!

I got this little activity center cleaned up and put back together finally. I thought my mom was going to drive 11 hours and do it herself if I didn't get it done!

Both boys have been enjoying it! But no-one has put away the laundry (on the couch)...

Holy Snow!

Our trip back home to Iowa was delayed due to a blizzard in Iowa and southern Minnesota. We were amazed (!) at the crazy amount of snow and drifting around our house and the surrounding areas.

This is Gabe on top of our largest drift. Our mailbox is sticking out of the snow.

Aaron says it only took him 15 minutes to uncover the mailbox with the snow-blower.

Another view of this drift. Our house is behind it... you can sorta see the roof.

Gabe had a good time playing in the snow today. It was finally warm enough to spend a little time outside.

A view of the neighborhood from our roof. The little blob in the snow is Gabe!

Road Trip

We were both able to take some time off work and make a trek up north to visit with family. Andrew got to meet his Great Grandma Gena for the 1st time. We met at the Speedway in Grand Forks and had a great time visiting. Grandma looks pretty darn happy to be holding 2 of her great grand babies....

Lots of moms with their babies! Jill & Bauer, Lindy & Andrew, Mitzi & Gabe, Gena

Great Grandma with some of her favorite boys. Craig & Bauer, Dan, Mike, Jon.

Andrew cuddling with his Grand Uncle Jim with a happy Grand Auntie Linda looking on in the background.

Andrew at Grandma & Grandpa Schaefer's all dressed up to go out in the COLD...

No trip to Grand Forks is complete without a trip to Cabelas to pose with an assault rifle.

SOOOOOOOO cute!

small, MeDiUm, LARGE (Bauer, Andrew, Gabe)

Whoa. Gabe fell in love with Heidi.

He said he liked her more than Grandma (yea right).

Jon was feeling a little threatened that Gabe was movin' in on his lady.

Grandpa Gary with Mr. Clean.

This pics are only a small sampling of the great time we had with our families. We were blessed with time and (somewhat) decent weather to make this trip.... Just wish we were closer so we could do this more often.
