Disney Theme Dinner

The youth group at church had a theme dinner, Disney. Julie asked me to decorate a table, basically for Aaron because she knew I would do a better job!

We did the Cars movie and rounded up all the toys we could find. Also Gabe's blankets and Andrew's books!

Our table earned the second highest amount of money! It was fun! :-)

March snows

The pharmacy had some awesome snow sculptures on the roof. It has been a hard month weather-wise. We are ready for spring!

Okoboji Getaway

We did a total spur-of-the-moment getaway to Okoboji yesterday. We went to arrow wood resort and had a lovely, relaxing, fun family time.

Just being up at the lakes is so good for our souls!

Andrew's Antics

He loves scotch tape and put some all over his face one night!

Last week he and I went on a lunch date at The Beachhouse and he ditched me for the fish! He did come back and visit with me eventually and are a pretty good lunch.

Temple of Light

Gabe used some if his birthday $$ to buy this set. There were two very excited boys when it arrived!!

Winter is STILL here

Aaron took the boys on separate snowmobile trips down to the river last week.

On his 2nd trip he got stuck in the ditch. A car stopped and helped him. Turned out it was a church member and the husband of Gabe's teacher!

Hats from Emily & Playing Cards

Auntie Emily is back in the lower 48 to meet Georgi and she made these cute hats for the boys.

We have playing cards lately; go fish, war, and old maid.

More beanie babies

I think Andrew has done his share of clearing the ER/hospital out of their beanie baby supply. He got 2 more this week, Kicks and Velvet. They really do help when they give them to him!

Here he is snuggling them for bed tonight.

A big illness

Our little man got really sick on Sunday before we left Minnesota. He threw up so much between Sunday and Monday it was awful! Got him to the doctor Monday and she sent him over to the hospital as an outpatient for fluids and lab work. Andrew cried so hard while they were giving him his IV. It broke this momma's heart . :-(

He was diagnosed with strep throat and perked up a bit after the fluids were in. Things were still pretty rough through Thursday as he just didn't feel good and got some nasty diarrhea.

Finally today we had a normal day. He went to school and daycare today without incident.
