Windows & A Tree

Gabe is posing by his new window in his bedroom.

We had a very busy weekend finishing the painting and putting the rooms back together.

Our bedroom. The window wells are about 8 feet deep? There are steps like a ladder to get out and a cover over the hole that you just push up in case you need to get out.

We put up our tree tonight and hung our stockings!

Little Painter

Gma Mitzi sent an art project for Gabe to paint. He had a great time painting it and it turned out pretty good! I should have taken a pic of the finished product!

WILD boys

I didn't go to church with the boys this morning and it is a good thing because they were W-I-L-D!

This first picture of Andrew looks innocent enough.... but he has some tricks up his sleeve.

Jumping from the ottoman to the couch. Yes, jumping. With abnormal platelets.

After the jump, all smiles!

And this is who Andrew learned it from:

Another action shot.

I've got video, too. It just takes too stinkin' long to upload it. Maybe sometime I'll do it.

Andrew

Andrew has been busy making music,

reading books,

being a cutie pie,

and hugging Rowdy (he just adores this dog)!

Gabe

Gabe has been enjoying this Leap Frog thing that Sydney handed down.

And, his favorite past-time, being silly!

Thanksgiving Day

We had a wonderfully quiet Thanksgiving. Just the 4 of us at home. Aaron had church services at Trinity, Deer Creek and when he got home we made lunch.

Since nothing about our lives seems traditional we decided to stick with that theme and made fettuccine alfredo for our Thanksgiving dinner. Above Andrew enjoys some after he woke up from his nap.

Why pasta and not turkey? Aaron and I had a conversation a few weeks before Thanksgiving where we both agreed we didn't like turkey all that much. But one thing all 4 of us agree on is pasta. The boys love it and so pasta it was.

But before the day even got started, Andrew insisted on pumpkin pie for breakfast. He doesn't say many words but he made it very clear that the fruit loops were NOT what he had in mind Thanksgiving morning.

The night before Thanksgiving we read a turkey book in Gabe's bed.

**Duplicate**

I just realized I had already posted the same pic of Andrew with the spoon. Oh well, I guess I thought it was REALLY important!

Thanksgiving program!

Gabe had his first school program today. He is in the back row, 2nd kid from right.

This pic is kind of hard to see but Gabe and his BFF Hudsen were comparing their Indian brave hats. Love this pic!

Gabe with his teacher Barb.

After the program we got to have snacks with our student. We had butter braids and milk! Gabe made most of the decorations at our table.

Gabe & Hudsen are so stinkin' cute!

Spoon!

Mr. Andrew is becoming adept at using a spoon. Well maybe not adept, but he is improving!

Love this boy!

The past few days...

We have spent playing, working, etc. Here Andrew was saying "Cheeeeeese".

Gabe cleaning up his monster trucks. He loves to play in the water.

Baby Bumblebee transformer. I love this picture!

Optimus Prime costume (THANK YOU Grand auntie Linda & uncle Jim Gma Mitzi) with a Bumblebee mask. He is currently sleeping in this costume.

Kent & Dee brought over a puppy and Andrew was in heaven! It was so cute to watch and listen to him interact with the puppy.

Last Monday we got to watch Gabe's tumbling class at the parent's open house. Gabe did pretty good considering he is one of the youngest in the class. Let's just say he wasn't the WORST at anything!!! He sure was fun to watch. Here he is with his teacher "Mr. Cal" practicing some sort of back roll/landing on your feet thing.

I never give Andrew a bowl and spoon but I did tonight. He really impressed me with his skills! He did great with the spoon and had fun!

Love Boys!

Last night Gabe stayed up late with us and messed around with some paper punches.

Gabe loves to take a bath with lots of bubbles and monster trucks.

Cute Andrew. He also loves to take a bath.

This is an older pic from this fall when Gabe and I climbed on the roof to watch them harvest the corn behind our house. It was fun to watch!

These boys are ready to snowmobile. I'm not ready for the snow!

Fargo

A few weeks back we met up with my family in Fargo and then spent some time in Perham at Aaron's parent's house.

Gabe got these sunglasses at one of our trips to Mayo for Andrew. He calls them his "Bob the Builder" glasses and loves to wear them.

Syd and Gabe swimming at the Holiday Inn in Fargo.

Me & Nora, my friend Allison's baby girl.

A few older pics

Early October at AppleFest in Fort Dodge. I don't think I posted pics from this before?

Dad watching the kids while I was at work.... Peanut M&M's.

Wearing some of my medals.

The Deer

Aaron got this deer last weekend at his parent's house. He hit it on the first shot and it fell over dead. No chasing/tracking, etc. He will be mounting this one.

The boys checking out the deer with Grandma.
