Gone but not Forgotten!

We have been gone... To Minnesota and North Dakota on what has been called "the Gabriel Tour". If you are familiar with the movie 'Evita' - it fits well into the song "Rainbow Tour"..... "Let's hear it for the Gabriel tour, it's been an incredible success. We weren't quite sure, we had a few doubts, would Gabriel win through? But the answer is... yes."

And although it may seem like the blog has been forgotten - indeed it is not! I have been thinking about it - people have been asking about it - and I do feel a bit guilty about the lack of posts since the birth of Gabriel

So I guess I must apologize for the delay... I'm sorry!

Here's what Gabriel has been up to:

He was baptized on February 18th, 2007 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Pictures with mom & dad -- why do mom & dad look so tired?

Gabriel got his first gun from his aunts & uncles on the Flatau side for his baptism. It's a family tradition to get a .22 when you are very young!

He drove to Perham, Minnesota and spent a few days there with Gma & Gpa Flatau and some of his aunts and uncles. He also got to meet many of his cousins and great aunts and uncles on the Flatau side.

He drove up near Edinburg, North Dakota to meet his great Grandma Gena and his great uncles Larry & Jerry.

He drove to Minot, North Dakota to meet his Gma & Gpa Schaefer and to have a baby shower at his auntie Kristi's house. He got to meet more of his cousins and great aunts and uncles and friends in Minot.

Then he drove back to Missouri and is getting ready to go to Arkansas tomorrow!

Today he went to the doctor and he weighs 9 lbs. 6 oz.... He's a growing boy!

Gabe's auntie Jill bought him this cute outfit.... I call this picture "Mad to be Cute".
Then things turned out not to be SO bad in the outfit, so I call this one "Happy to be Cute".

Holding hands...

Cuddling with Uncle Mike.
